The new BMC Teamelite 01 is the culmination of performance evolution in competitive cycling. The cross-country competition has become, almost literally, a race to the top. Exhausting sprints full to the finish that are carried out with bicycles of maximum efficiency and minimum weight, without paying too much attention to the absorption ... until now.
The MTT system is based on a double guide design to generate torsional and lateral rigidity being available in 3 levels of absorption.
The internal wiring system prevents dirt from entering the shift and brake cables.
The rear of the teamelite model offers incredible performance thanks to the space of 142 mm in the rear hub and the rigidity along the entire through shaft.
More free height on the frame in the Teamelite 01 in size XS (Extra Small). - To get more headroom compared to the upper tube in the smaller size of our Teamelite 01, our engineers have modified the design of the frame, mainly the shape of the upper tube.
The Micro Travel Technology (MTT) of BMC is the evolution of several generations of advanced crosscountry machines. Impec Advanced R & D Lab engineers have spent two years developing and improving the performance and performance of the system.
Simply adding absorption to the back of the bicycle was not enough, but doing so without losing the efficiency of the transmission, the torsional rigidity or the handling response was a very demanding challenge. The final results are the icing on the cake: virtually no weight penalty and a system with surprisingly low maintenance.
The operation of the Micro-Travel Technology is the result of the specific design of the sheaths and the stays through a laminated carbon complex and a double guide system, integrated in the XCell shock absorber.
Rigidity where you need it, adaptability at all times.
The queen of the classics, Paris-Roubaix, is famous for her punishing pavé. The multiple sectors of untidy cobblestones, demand in an unimaginable way both, machine and cyclist. TCC and Angle Compliance technology are our innovative solutions to minimize the punishment and maximize the performance of our WorldTour brokers. Keeps riders fresh longer and in constant connection with the road making it possible for good results to occur.
An active suspension is not a characteristic that is usually taken into account when building a road frame, but this does not mean that there is no suspension at all. Frames, forks, wheels, seatposts, handlebars and powers work in unison to establish a dynamic system that acts as a universal suspension system. We have taken this natural system and gone a little further with thin and low straps, elbowed toes, carbon fork and a redesigned seat post to maximize the vertical component of this dynamic system. Combined with our Angle Compliance technology, we have developed the most advanced absorption system today. The end result is the perfect balance between comfort and performance for a comfortable and fast ride.
The traditional design of paintings consists of two triangles with straight elements, which are very rigid in compression, even being extremely thin. Adding curves or angles to these elements greatly increases their flexion. With the use of the Angle Compliance, the rear triangle can absorb and isolate from the impacts to the rest of the bike, without affecting the cyclist. The characteristics of the Angle Compliance are in the straps, sheaths, fork legs and seatposts of several models where comfort is a priority.
A geometry oriented to true needs and a modern front design means that our 29 "bikes are agile, stable and very efficient.
Aesthetics should not be a secondary thought. Dti allows BMC frames to look like the precision machines they are, as they were designed, regardless of where and how the components are.
